Produced by ballad singer Rich, R&B idol group A-ble will debut in Japan next January after they¡¯ve recently received a $300,000USD contract from a Japanese agency.
Regarding their group¡¯s concept, the members revealed, ¡°We want to get rid of the discrimination against idols that perform R&B. Each of us have different music styles so it was actually very difficult to come together.¡±
Member Juho enjoys listening to soul, while Chul Woong enjoys pop; Hyochan, meanwhile, is a fan of Jason Mraz. Despite their differences, the group managed to merge their talents and form their own unique style. ¡°We¡¯d like to become like our 4men seniors.¡±
The trio dreams of being labelled as ¡®musicians¡¯ and are consistently studying music. ¡°This album, ¡®Dead Love¡®, was produced by Rich-hyung, but we are planning to include our own self-composed tracks for the next official album.¡±
Regarding their upcoming official debut, the group stated, ¡°It¡¯s hard to believe right now. We¡¯re just enjoying the moment. Genres like R&B and soul aren¡¯t as popular in Korea as everyone believes. We hope that A-ble will make the R&B genre more accessible to others.¡±
A-ble revealed the jacket pictures for their first single today, and revealed that they will be kicking off their official activities through a showcase on November 2nd at Hongdae¡¯s V-Hall. The music video for ¡°Dead Love¡± features ¡°Pasta¡± actor Hyun Woo and will be broadcasted next month.
